Overwhelmed by Worry for the Future
Hello, I’m Aaron, a 23-year-old graduate student. I’ve been feeling overwhelmed with anxiety about the future. As I see the world facing numerous crises, I can’t help but worry about finding a job after graduation, how I will support myself, and the impact of climate change on my plans. The fear of what lies ahead has caused me to doubt my capabilities and my faith. I long for clarity and assurance that I am on the right path. Please pray for me to find that peace and confidence in God’s plan for my life.

Dear Aaron, thank you for sharing your heartfelt concerns. I admire your courage to voice these worries. It’s natural to feel anxious about the future, especially during such uncertain times. Remember the words of Matthew 6:34, where Jesus says, 'Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.' Focus on living fully today and trust God for tomorrow. In Jeremiah 29:11, God reassures us that He knows the plans He has for us, plans to prosper and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future. As you dive into your studies and future career, lean into God’s promises, and let Him guide you. I will pray that you find peace in His presence and confidence in the path He lays before you. May you experience His love and direction as you move forward.
