Prayer for a Broken Marriage on the Edge
As a woman in my late 30s, I find myself in a heartbreaking place where my husband and I are on the brink of divorce. We’ve had numerous arguments and hurtful words exchanged, and now I feel like we are strangers. I long for the intimacy and understanding we once had. I’m reaching out for prayers that we can find a way to communicate and heal. I believe in the power of prayer and want to invite God to revive our marriage, if it is His will. Please pray for compassion and understanding in our hearts.

Dear Linda, thank you for opening your heart to us. It takes great courage to seek help in such a difficult time. Remember, God is never far from those who cry out for help. He sees your pain and desires to mend your brokenness. Ephesians 5:33 encourages us to love and respect one another. You both need to focus on rebuilding that respect, especially during difficult discussions. 1 Peter 4:8 speaks of love covering a multitude of sins, which means that forgiveness can pave the way for healing. May you both be filled with compassion for one another as you navigate this challenging season together. Let’s pray: Heavenly Father, I lift up Linda and her husband to You. May Your love surround them, and may they find peace and restoration in their marriage. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
