Prayer for Guidance Amid Racial Bias at Work
I am Michael, a 35-year-old African American man working in construction. Lately, I have encountered racial bias that not only affects my work relationships but also my financial security as I worry about job retention. I feel frustrated and disillusioned by the situation. I need prayer for guidance and the ability to navigate this difficult environment while maintaining my integrity. I seek wisdom on how to address these issues wisely without escalating tensions. Please pray for better understanding among my co-workers and for God to grant me peace during this time.

Dear Michael, I truly empathize with your position and the challenges you are facing in your workplace. Racial bias is not only damaging but can also lead to significant stress. As you seek guidance, know that God promises to provide wisdom to those who ask (James 1:5). He understands your situation deeply and is aware of your struggles. Always remember that your integrity is important; as Proverbs 22:29 says, "Seest thou a man diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men." Trust that God is working in your midst, and He can change hearts and minds. Continue to do your work unto the Lord, knowing that your ultimate reward is from Him (Colossians 3:23). I will be praying for your strength and for understanding in your workplace. Let’s pray: Heavenly Father, I pray for Michael. Guide him and give him the wisdom to navigate this difficult situation with grace. Amen.
