Prayer for My Mother's Stage 3 Cancer Diagnosis
My mother was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer last week. She is 67 years old and has been a faithful servant of God her entire life. I am struggling to understand why this is happening. I am asking for prayers for her complete healing, for strength for our family, and for wisdom for her medical team. We believe in miracles and trust that God is able.

Dear Sarah and family, we lift your mother before the throne of God's grace today.
The question "why" is one that every believer wrestles with in times of suffering. Jesus Himself cried out "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" — so your pain is not unfamiliar to Him.
What we know from Scripture is this: God is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). He does not stand far off from your mother's hospital room. He is there, in every treatment room, in every sleepless night.
Isaiah 41:10 says, "Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Claim this promise over your mother today.
We also believe in the God who heals. James 5:14-15 calls us to pray with faith and anoint the sick. The elders of our congregation join you in this prayer.
Pray this with us: Heavenly Father, You are Jehovah Rapha — the God who heals. We lay your mother before You now. We ask for complete healing of her body. Strengthen her immune system, guide the hands of every doctor, and fill her heart with Your supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding. May this trial become a testimony of Your glory. In Jesus' name, Amen.
