Praying for a Family Member to Find Faith
As a mother, my greatest burden is for my adult son who seems lost in a world full of confusion and division. We've always had open discussions, but lately, any mention of faith is met with hostility. I believe he’s lost sight of what truly matters, drowning in the noise of political arguments. I pray for his heart to be softened and for him to encounter God’s love in a way that draws him to the truth of salvation. I know what it feels like to watch your child stray, and my heart aches for the relationship we once had. I hope for the day we can discuss faith freely like we used to. Please pray for my son’s awakening to Christ’s love.

Dear Sandra, it is understandable to feel deep concern for your son. In these challenging times, it can be easy to lose sight of our faith amidst worldly distractions. But rest assured that God is working in his life even when you cannot see it. Ephesians 2:8 tells us that we are saved by grace through faith, and this is not of ourselves, it is the gift of God. Trust that God has a plan for your son, and your prayers are a powerful way to intercede for him. Proverbs 22:6 teaches us to train up a child in the way he should go, and even when he is old, he will not depart from it. Continue to model Christ-like love and patience. Lord, please bring healing to Sandra’s relationship with her son. Work in his heart and draw him closer to You. Amen.
