Praying for Boundaries with Family Influence
Dear God, I am reaching out to You with a heart full of concern for my marriage. My husband and I are facing significant turmoil due to the expectations and involvement of my in-laws in our lives. Their influence is often negative, creating conflict between us. I seek Your wisdom in establishing healthy boundaries while still showing love and respect for them. Help us to communicate these boundaries effectively and stand strong against any pressure. Lord, I ask for a protective shield over our union and the ability to find joy in our marriage despite these challenges. I trust in Your plan and timing. In Jesus' name, Amen.

This shows that your primary allegiance is to your spouse. Remember, 'Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another' (Romans 12:10). As you set boundaries, do so graciously but firmly. I will pray for wisdom and strength as you navigate this delicate situation, trusting that God will guide your efforts toward peace in your home.
