Praying for Confirmation on My Seminary Call
I am a 32-year-old woman who has recently felt a strong calling to attend seminary and pursue a career in ministry. Yet, I am battling doubts and second-guessing my decision. I wonder if I am truly equipped to lead others in faith. I ask for prayers that God will confirm this calling in my heart. I want to do His work, but I need to feel confident that I am on the right path. Pray that I can discern His will and feel the encouragement I need to take this leap of faith.

Dear Rachel, it's wonderful to hear about your passion for ministry and your desire to answer God's call. Doubts can be insidious, but they don’t have to define your journey. Remember, as it says in 2 Corinthians 5:7, "For we walk by faith, not by sight." Your feelings of uncertainty are natural, but your willingness to seek confirmation shows your commitment to following God's will. God can use you in profound ways, and the more you trust Him, the more He will guide you. Psalm 46:10 tells us, "Be still, and know that I am God." Take time to be still and listen; His peace will guide you. I encourage you to seek mentorship from others in ministry as well. Let’s pray together: Lord, I ask for clarity and confirmation for Rachel as she considers seminary. May she feel Your presence and assurance in her journey. Amen.
