Praying for Deliverance for My Neighbor
Hi, I’m Meena. I am asking for prayers for my elderly neighbor, Raj. He has been battling severe depression since the loss of his son, and it's heartbreaking to see him trapped in his sorrow. He adheres to Hindu beliefs, but I often wonder if he understands the depths of God’s love and redemption. I want him to know hope again and to see that there is a purpose even in overwhelming grief. I ask for prayers that his heart will be open to the joy and salvation that can be found in Christ. Lord knows he needs peace and healing, and I truly believe it’s only through Jesus that he can find true comfort. Please join me in praying for him.

Dear Meena, thank you for your heartfelt concern for Raj. It is a tragedy when grief overtakes a life, and your compassion shines brightly. We know from Romans 10:9 that if we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in our hearts, we are saved. Raj’s journey back to hope may start with an understanding of who Jesus is. In John 3:16, we are reminded of God’s incredible love for us—He desires that we all come to Him. Your prayers are essential, as they invite the Holy Spirit to work in his life. Encourage him gently, and be a witness of the love and grace you have in your life. Remember, God is with the brokenhearted (Psalms 34:18), and He will bring comfort and healing to Raj in His perfect timing. Let us pray earnestly for Raj’s heart to be opened to the salvation and love that Christ offers. Amen.
