Praying for Financial Clarity While Supporting My Children
Hi, my name is Leon. I’m a single father trying to support my children who are living with their grandparents in my home country. Although I work hard here, I often find myself questioning if I'm making the right choices for our family. My income is barely enough to cover my own expenses, let alone send support their way. I feel like I'm stuck between wanting to provide for them and needing to take care of myself. I ask for prayers for clarity and wisdom in managing my finances and for my children to feel loved and secure despite the distance. I want to be the father they need, even from afar.

Dear Leon, Thank you for sharing your story with us. The love you have for your children shines through your words. Balancing obligations can be incredibly challenging, but know that God is with you. Deuteronomy 8:18 reminds us, 'But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth.' Trust in His provision and the unique journey He has for your family. God understands your heart's desire to provide for your children, and as you navigate this path, lean on Him for wisdom as James 1:5 encourages us. I pray that you find the financial clarity you seek and that your children feel the warmth of your love, irrespective of the miles between you.
