Praying for Impactful Conversations in Class
I am a 22-year-old female studying environmental science. My peers often feel disillusioned with life and purpose, and I see a tremendous opportunity to share what my faith means to me. I want to invite them to explore a relationship with Christ, but I struggle with how to start these discussions without coming across as overly preachy. It's important to me that I authentically express my beliefs while being relatable. I am asking for prayers that God will soften the hearts of those around me and help me find the right moments to engage them. I desire to be a vessel of His love and to show them the hope and joy that Jesus can bring into their lives. Please pray for divine guidance and the ability to speak truth in love. I truly believe that these conversations can change lives, and I want to be faithful to that calling.

Missions Pastor, First Baptist Church
Dear Emily, thank you for your genuine heart to share your faith. It’s inspiring to see your desire to engage with your peers authentically. Remember that God is already at work in their lives, and your willingness to interject love and hope is a gift. In Ephesians 2:9, we are assured that 'Not of works, lest any man should boast,' meaning that our salvation is not based on our efforts, but on God's grace. You can rest in that assurance as you share your journey with others. When conversations arise, trust that the Holy Spirit will guide you, and Philippians 4:13 reminds us, 'I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.' Your words can carry weight and can lead your peers to discover the joy of faith. I encourage you to pray for open doors, and be prepared for divine conversations. God is faithful and will honor your willingness to share His love. I will pray for you as you step into this important mission. Amen.
