Praying for My Brother's Freedom from Deception
I am deeply troubled about my younger brother, who has fallen into a cult that teaches a distorted version of Christianity. He used to be so passionate about his faith. Now, he dismisses the gospel as outdated and irrelevant. I feel a heavy burden for his soul. He believes he has found 'truth,' but it's a truth that leads him away from Christ. I'm asking for prayer that God would open his eyes to the real truth of the gospel and that he would return to the light that is only found in Jesus. Please pray for my brother to experience a radical transformation and come to know the true Christ.

Jordan, thank you for sharing your heart about your brother's situation. It’s understandable to feel burdened when a loved one is led astray. The enemy is cunning, and he often twists the truth to ensnare the unsuspecting. However, we serve a God who is greater than all darkness. In Romans 6:23, we are reminded that 'the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.' This eternal gift is what your brother truly needs. Pray with confidence, for in John 14:6, Jesus said, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.' Hold on to the hope that God can break through any deception. I encourage you to continue showing your brother love and to speak truth into his life whenever possible. Let’s pray: 'Dear Lord, I lift up Jordan's brother to You. Break the chains of deception and lead him back to Your truth. Amen.'
