Praying for My Brother's Understanding of Christ
I am deeply concerned for my brother who has started to openly mock Jesus and the teachings of our faith. He claims to be agnostic and often laughs off my efforts to talk to him about God. This situation weighs heavily on my heart. I try to respond with love, but sometimes I feel like my words are falling on deaf ears. I know that the Lord loves him and desires to draw him to Himself, but it feels like a struggle to communicate with him. I am asking for prayers that God would break down the walls he has built around his heart and allow him to see the truth of the gospel. I believe in the power of prayer and the importance of faith in our lives. Please pray that God would guide both of us through this challenging time.

Dear Joshua, thank you for your heartfelt prayer request concerning your brother. It’s clear that you care deeply for him, and your concern is noteworthy. This is a challenging journey, but remember that you are not alone in this struggle. God’s desire is for everyone to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). As you continue to pray for your brother, trust that God is working in ways you might not see. The mocking he offers is often a mask for deeper questions and doubts he may have. You can lovingly share that ‘the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life’ (Romans 6:23). Your patience and love can serve as a light for him. Continue to invite the Holy Spirit into your conversations with him, asking for wisdom to know the right words at the right time. Let’s pray together for the Lord to break through to him and reveal His love and truth. Your brother’s heart can change, and your faith will be a crucial part of that transformation.
