Praying for My Family's Spiritual Awakening
I’m a 45-year-old man who has been working in agriculture for most of my life. I have two children, and while I strive to provide for them, I’m heartbroken to see them drifting away from their faith. I want them to experience the joy that comes from knowing Christ, but sometimes it feels like I’m losing the battle. We live in a world that pulls them in so many directions, and I fear they might lose their way entirely. I pray for their hearts to be softened and for God to bring them back to Him. Please pray with me for their salvation and for wisdom on how to guide them back to a relationship with the Lord.

Dear Carlos, I can feel the weight of your heart as you pray for your children's faith. You are not alone in this journey; many parents face similar struggles. It’s comforting to know that God loves your children even more than you do. Romans 6:23 reminds us that the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord, and we must hold onto that hope for our family. Take heart in the promise of Proverbs 22:6, which assures us that if we train up a child in the way they should go, when they are old, they will not depart from it. Keep praying for them, and look for opportunities to engage in discussions about faith that are open and loving. I will be praying for you, asking God to guide both you and your children back into His loving embrace.
