Praying for My Friend's Intellectual Curiosity to Seek God
Dear God, I come to You today with a heavy heart for my dear friend John, a brilliant mind who often questions the existence of You and the reality of faith. As someone who has always relied on logic and reason, he struggles to see the intersection of science and faith. I pray that You would open his heart to the possibility of Your love and grace. Help him to see that faith does not oppose intellect but complements it. May he find evidence of Your wisdom in creation and the beauty of life around us. I long for him to encounter Your truth in a personal way, to understand that You desire a relationship with him. Please guide him on this journey and provide him with the answers he seeks. Amen.

God desires for everyone to come to repentance and know His truth, as stated in 2 Peter 3:9. Encourage John to explore his questions, as God welcomes inquiry. Remember that Jesus said, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life' (John 14:6), which assures us that seeking Him will lead to understanding. It might help to engage him in conversations about how faith and reason coexist, reflecting on Romans 6:23, which reminds us that eternal life is a gift through Jesus Christ. May God open John's heart to the truth of His Word. I will be praying for John’s openness to faith and that he may find clarity in the answers he seeks.
