Praying for My Husband's Deliverance from Addiction
I'm a 34-year-old mother of two, and I feel overwhelmed by the chaos my husband's addiction has brought into our home. Every day feels like a battle, and I'm terrified of the impact this is having on our children. I love him deeply, but his struggles with substance abuse create an unsafe environment. I find myself constantly on edge, worrying about the safety of my children and the stability of our family. I ask for prayers not only for my husband's healing but also for the strength to support him while protecting our kids. Please pray that our home can be restored to a place of love and safety. I long for peace and for my husband to find the help he needs to overcome his addiction.

Dear Maria, I understand how heavy your heart must feel right now. Addiction can wreak havoc not only on the individual but also on the entire family. It’s essential to remember that God cares deeply about your situation. In Hebrews 13:4, we are reminded that 'Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.' This emphasizes the sanctity of your marriage and the importance of seeking restoration. Additionally, Psalm 127:3 tells us that 'Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.' Your children are precious gifts from God, and it’s vital to create a safe home for them. I encourage you to lean on your faith during this challenging time. Pray for your husband's strength and for God to intervene in his life. Let us pray together for healing and restoration in your family. Heavenly Father, we come to You today, pleading for Maria’s husband. We ask for Your divine intervention in his life and healing from addiction. Please provide strength and comfort to Maria and their children. Amen.
