Praying for My Neighbor's Eternal Salvation
There's an elderly man named Mr. Ramirez who lives down the street from me. We often bump into each other during our morning walks, and he shares stories about his life. He’s a wonderful storyteller, but I’ve never heard him talk about faith or God. I feel that he may be searching for something deeper but hasn't found it yet. My heart aches for him to know the love of Jesus, especially as he navigates the challenges of old age. I pray for a chance to talk about faith without making him uncomfortable. Please pray for Mr. Ramirez's salvation and for God to give me the right words when the opportunity arises. I want him to experience the joy of knowing Christ.

Hi Kevin, thank you for your compassionate heart towards Mr. Ramirez. It’s clear that you genuinely care for his well-being, both physically and spiritually. Remember, sharing the gospel is often about planting seeds rather than having all the answers. As it says in Luke 15:7, 'I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.' This joy in heaven is for Mr. Ramirez as well! Be patient as you build a relationship with him, and pray for the Holy Spirit to guide your conversations. 'For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God' (Ephesians 2:8) is a foundational truth you can share when the time feels right. Let’s pray together for Mr. Ramirez’s heart to be opened to the gospel, and for you to find the right words to speak of Christ’s love. God bless you for your desire to reach out to him!
