Praying for My Neighbor's Heart to Be Open to Jesus
I just discovered that my new neighbor is going through a tough time after losing a family member. I feel led to reach out to them and offer my support, but I also want to take this opportunity to share my faith. I pray that God would soften their heart to receive His love and truth. It's hard to know what to say or how to comfort them, but I want to be a light in their life during this dark time. Please pray that I would be compassionate and discerning in our conversations and that God would give me the right words to speak about salvation through Christ.

Dear Anthony, it's heartwarming to hear about your desire to support your neighbor during such a difficult time. The loss of a loved one can leave deep wounds, and your willingness to be there for them speaks volumes about your character. Remember, God equips us to comfort others (2 Corinthians 1:4). As you reach out, be sensitive to their pain, allowing them to share their feelings. In John 3:16, we are reminded of God’s immense love for the world, and sharing that love can be incredibly healing. Also, pray for guidance, as it says in James 1:5, that if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God. Trust that God will give you the right words at the right moment. Let’s pray: Heavenly Father, I lift up Anthony and his neighbor. May Your love flow through him and touch the heart of his neighbor during this time of grief. In Jesus' name, Amen.
