Praying for My Neighbor's Journey Toward Christ
My neighbor, Hassan, has been living next to me for several years. He is a kind individual but a devoted Muslim. Recently, he has shown interest in learning more about my faith, especially about my relationship with Jesus. I feel a strong urge to share the Gospel with him, but I also wrestle with fear and uncertainty. What if he takes offense? What if our friendship is affected? I want to approach this with love and wisdom but feel unsure how to start. I pray that God opens his heart to receive the message of salvation and that I have the courage to share it effectively. Please pray that Hassan can see the light of Christ through me.

Dear Michael, your heart for your neighbor is beautiful, and it’s clear that God has placed Hassan in your life for a reason. Engaging someone from a different faith background can be intimidating, but remember, God calls us to share His love regardless of the outcome. The Apostle Paul writes in Romans 10:14, ‘How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard?’ This passage emphasizes the importance of sharing the Gospel. Approach these conversations with prayer, asking the Holy Spirit to guide your words and actions. Philippians 4:7 assures us that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Trust that God will protect your friendship through this journey. I will pray with you for Hassan's heart to be open and that you will find the right words to share the hope you have in Christ. May your relationship continue to blossom and bear fruit for God’s kingdom.
