Praying for My Sister Trapped in a Cult
Dear Lord, I come before you with a heavy heart for my sister, who has fallen under the influence of a cult. She used to be so close to You, but now she is blinded by the teachings that contradict Your Word. I miss our conversations about faith and I fear for her salvation. It's hard to see her so far from the truth, and I feel helpless. Please open her eyes to the deception that surrounds her and bring her back into the light of Your love. Help me to be a source of patience and truth when I talk to her, even if she is resistant. I long for the day when I can see her free from this bondage, rejoicing in the hope of salvation. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

Dear Mark, I want to assure you that your concerns for your sister are shared by our Heavenly Father. He does not desire that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). It’s understandable to feel helpless, but remember that nothing is impossible with God (Luke 1:37). The power of the Gospel is tremendous, and we must stand firm in our faith that through Jesus Christ, salvation is found for all who believe (Acts 4:12). As you pray, continue to be a loving presence in her life, showing her the grace of God through your actions and words. Let’s pray together for her release from this spiritual bondage: Lord, we lift up Mark’s sister to you. We ask that you break the chains of deception and draw her back to your truth. In Jesus' name, Amen.
