Praying for New Friendships and Salvation
Hi, my name is Linda, and I’m a 28-year-old single woman. I just moved to a new city for work, and I find myself feeling lonely. I’m excited to meet my new neighbors, but I also feel a burden to share Christ with them. I have a neighbor named Tom who seems to be struggling with life, and I believe he needs the hope that only Jesus can offer. Please pray that I can connect with him in a meaningful way and that God gives me the right words to express my faith. I feel a calling to help him find salvation. Thank you!

Dear Linda,
Thank you for reaching out with your prayer request. It is clear that God has placed a desire in your heart to reach out and help others find hope and salvation. You are doing a beautiful thing by seeking to share Christ with your neighbor, Tom. As you navigate this journey, remember John 3:16, which tells us that God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son for our salvation. This is the message of hope you want to share!
Building friendship is often a gradual process, so take time to get to know Tom and show genuine interest in his life. Share moments of kindness and be an active listener. Your compassion will speak volumes, and as you live out your faith, he will likely be drawn to the love of Christ in you. Ephesians 2:8 reminds us that we are saved by grace through faith, and this grace is available to all.
Let's pray together: Lord, I lift Linda and Tom before You. May their relationship grow, and may Tom’s heart be open to Your message of salvation. Guide Linda in her words and actions. In Jesus' name, Amen.
