Praying for Provision in My Freelance Career
Hello, my name is Liam, and I’m reaching out for prayer support. I’m a freelance writer, and while I love being my own boss, I often struggle with inconsistent income. It’s hard to plan for my family’s future when I can’t predict my earnings. I want to be a responsible husband and father, but the anxiety of financial instability can weigh heavy on my heart. Dear Liam, it’s great to hear from you. Freelancing can certainly bring unpredictability, but remember that God is the source of your provision. As 1 Timothy 6:6 teaches us, 'But godliness with contentment is great gain.' Trust in God’s timing and plan for your career. He knows your needs, and Matthew 6:26 reminds us, 'Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?' You are valuable to Him, and He will provide for you. Stay faithful and continue to work hard. I will be praying for new opportunities and peace in your heart. Let’s pray: Heavenly Father, we ask for Your guidance and provision for Liam. May he find consistent work and the peace he seeks. In Jesus' name, Amen.
