Praying for Strength in a Hostile Workplace
I'm a 28-year-old woman who feels overwhelmed in a hostile work environment. My colleagues are unsupportive, and the constant negativity drains my spirit. I’m struggling with anxiety and can't see a way out because I depend on this job for financial security. I pray for the strength to keep going, to stand firm in my faith, and to find a way to alleviate this stress. I hope for a shift in my workplace dynamics or a new opportunity to arise.

Dear Samantha, I know how challenging it can be to work in a hostile environment. It's essential to remember that God is with you, and He can provide the strength you need in moments of distress. 'I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me' (Philippians 4:13). Hold onto that promise as you navigate your workplace. I encourage you to seek God’s guidance in prayer and perhaps find ways to foster a positive mindset amidst negativity. 'For the Lord thy God is a jealous God; among you, lest the anger of the Lord thy God be kindled against thee' (Deuteronomy 6:15), reminding us of His love for us.
