Praying for Strength in a Skeptical Family
As a new believer myself, I am finding my faith tested with my brother in prison who has just accepted Christ. My family is hesitant to believe that any real change can happen, especially coming from his past. It’s disheartening to see doubt overshadow our hope. I ask for prayers for me and my brother as we navigate this journey of faith together. I pray for God to give us strength and to work in my family’s hearts, creating opportunities for us to share the joy of our faith with them. I want them to see the changes God is making in our lives and to believe that salvation is for everyone.

Dear Evelyn, thank you for your heartfelt prayer request. It's evident that you care deeply for your brother and your family. It can be challenging to face skepticism, but remember that Jesus promised, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me' (John 14:6). Hold onto this truth as you support your brother in his faith journey. Your family will see the evidence of God's work through you both. As you continue to pray, know that God can soften even the hardest of hearts, as depicted in Romans 10:9. Let’s pray: Lord, uplift Evelyn and her brother during this time. Help them share Your love and truth with their family. Amen.
