Rebuilding My Broken Trust in God
Dear Lord, I come to You with a heart that feels shattered. For years, I have faced hardships that have left me questioning Your love and presence in my life. My relationship with You has felt strained, and I often feel abandoned in my struggles. I can’t shake the feeling that I’ve failed You and that I’m unworthy of Your grace. My traumatic experiences have colored my view of You, making it hard for me to trust and rely on Your promises. I long to feel close to You again, to find peace in knowing that I am safe in Your arms. Please help me to rebuild my faith and trust in Your goodness, even when my heart feels heavy. I ask for prayer to guide me back to a place of closeness with You, Lord.

Dear Linda, thank you for sharing your heart with us. It's completely natural to feel lost after experiencing deep trauma, but I want to remind you that God is with you, even in your darkest moments. Romans 8:38 assures us that nothing can separate us from the love of God, not even our feelings of unworthiness. Remember, God sees you as His beloved child (1 John 3:1) and desires a relationship with you regardless of your past. It's important to take small steps in rebuilding your faith. Start with prayer and reading the Word, as it is through it that we find solace and strength. In Proverbs 3:6, we are encouraged to acknowledge Him in all our ways, and He will direct our paths. I encourage you to seek a community that can walk with you during this journey. Let's pray together for healing in your heart and a restoration of your trust in Him. God loves you and is ready to embrace you once again.
