Rediscovering My Call as a Seminary Student
I've been attending seminary for a couple of years now, and I once felt a burning passion for ministry. Recently, I feel like that fire has dimmed. The workload is overwhelming, and I often question if I’m really cut out for this. I find myself doubting my abilities and feeling exhausted, both physically and spiritually. My heart longs for the days when I felt so connected to God’s purpose in my life. I really want to reignite that passion and clarity about my calling. Please pray for me to find renewed strength and inspiration to pursue the path I believe God has set before me.

Dear Daniel, I understand how disheartening it can feel when your passion seems to fade. Remember that in Isaiah 40:31, it says, 'But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.' God is always longing for us to seek Him, especially in our weariness. When you feel overwhelmed, take a moment to pause and pray, asking for wisdom as James 1:5 teaches: 'If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.' Let Him lead you back to that place of passion and purpose. Remember, His plans for you are good; as stated in Jeremiah 29:11, 'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.' Let’s pray that your heart is restored, and that you find clarity in your journey ahead.
