Rediscovering My Calling Amidst Spiritual Drought
As a seminary student, I once felt a fire in my heart for ministry that brought me joy and purpose. But lately, I've been overwhelmed with doubt and disillusionment. Classes feel like a chore, and I find myself questioning my calling. I used to look forward to sharing the Gospel, but now, it feels like a burden. I’m struggling to connect with God in my prayer life, and I fear I’m losing my passion for serving others. I'm asking for prayer to help me rediscover that fire within me and to find clarity and direction in my journey toward ministry.

Grief and Healing Ministry
David, thank you for your honesty in sharing your struggles. It’s not uncommon for those in ministry preparation to face seasons of doubt and fatigue. Remember, you are not alone in this journey. Philippians 1:6 assures us that 'he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.' This promise means that even in your doubt, God is still at work in your heart. I encourage you to take time to seek God’s presence, for Isaiah 40:31 promises that those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. In your search for passion, consider reaching out to mentors or fellow classmates who can support you with prayer and encouragement. Finally, remember that James 1:5 tells us that if any of us lack wisdom, we can ask of God, who gives generously. May your heart be opened to His guidance. Let’s pray together for the rekindling of your passion and clarity in your ministry journey.
