Rekindling My Love for Ministry Studies
During my time in seminary, I’ve found my heart growing cold toward the very subjects I once loved. The coursework feels tedious, and instead of feeling inspired, I often feel drained. I miss the joy of learning and the excitement of growing closer to God through my studies. I want to rekindle that love and passion for ministry that once fueled my zeal. I ask for prayers to help me rediscover that joyful connection to my studies and to feel inspired by God to pursue the path He has laid out for me.

Dear Elijah, thank you for being open about your feelings regarding your studies. It’s not uncommon to go through seasons where our passion wanes. Just know that your journey of faith and learning is a process, and God is with you through every step. In Psalms 34:18, we are reminded, 'The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.' He understands your struggle and is eager to restore your joy. As you seek to rekindle your passion, take time for reflection and prayer, asking Him to illuminate the vibrant truths found in your studies. Remember that serving God is a journey of faith, and as Romans 12:2 encourages us, 'And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.' Let’s pray for clarity, joy, and a fresh touch from the Holy Spirit in your studies.
