Requesting Prayer for Fear of Public Speaking
Greetings, my name is David, and as a 40-year-old manager in a corporate setting, I often find myself paralyzed by fear when I am required to present in front of my team or stakeholders. I feel the pressure of being in charge, and the thought of making mistakes terrifies me. It's becoming a hindrance to my career, and I want to serve my team effectively without anxiety holding me back. I’m reaching out for prayer support to help me overcome this fear and to trust that my experience and knowledge are valuable. I want to honor God with my work, but I need help to manage this anxiety.

Dear David, thank you for being so open about your struggles. It takes a lot of courage to share what you’re going through. Remember, the Lord is your strength and shield (Psalm 28:7). When fear threatens to take control, remind yourself that God is with you and equips you for every task (Matthew 6:34). You possess the skills and experience needed to lead your team, and your contributions are important. As you work on presentations, I encourage you to pray and ask the Lord to fill you with His confidence. Practice can also build your comfort level; consider joining a public speaking group or seeking feedback from trusted colleagues. Together, let's pray: Father, I lift David to You. Help him to find peace amid his anxiety and to trust in Your strength. May each presentation he gives be a testimony of Your guidance in his life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
