Requesting Prayer for My Neighbor Doris' Salvation
Doris is an elderly woman who lives across the street from me. She’s been a widow for a few years now, and I can see that she often feels lonely. We’ve developed a friendly relationship, but I sense she doesn’t have the foundational hope that comes from salvation. I’ve felt a calling to share Jesus with her, but I am unsure how to start that conversation. Please pray that I would be sensitive to her needs and that God would grant me the right words at the right time. I want her to know that God sees her and loves her deeply. I believe there is a beautiful opportunity for God to work in her life, and I want to play a part in that. Thank you for your prayers as I seek to be a good neighbor and witness.

Dear Claire, thank you for your heartfelt request regarding Doris. It’s wonderful to see your concern for her spiritual well-being. Remember that God has a perfect timing for everything, and your willingness to share your faith with her is vital. The Bible reminds us that the Lord is merciful and desires that no one should perish (Ezekiel 18:23). Approach Doris with kindness, letting her know you are there for her in her loneliness. As you pray for divine opportunities, know that He will open doors for you to share the gospel. Trust in the promise of Romans 10:9 that if we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus, we shall be saved. Let’s pray for Doris to encounter God’s love through your words. Lord, we ask for your guidance in Claire’s conversations with Doris and for her heart to be receptive to your voice. Amen.
