Restoration After Retirement Savings Scam
I am Monica, a 55-year-old who just lost my life savings in a retirement scam. It feels like my entire future has been ripped away from me. I had planned to retire in a few years, and now I feel completely lost and anxious about how I will support myself. This has caused strain not only on my finances but also in my relationships, as I feel ashamed and embarrassed. I pray for strength and guidance, seeking God's help to navigate this turmoil. Dear Monica, I hear your pain and the turmoil you're experiencing after such a devastating loss. It’s completely natural to feel overwhelmed, but I want you to cling to hope. Remember, Proverbs 3:5-6 encourages us to 'Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.' God sees your struggle, and He will guide you through this difficult season. As you begin to look for new opportunities, hold on to your faith. Remember that 'the LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season.' (Deuteronomy 28:12). Together, let us pray: Heavenly Father, help Monica to find clarity and strength as she looks forward to rebuild her future. Amen.
