Restoring Faith After Church Pain
I am David, a 45-year-old father who has been deeply hurt by the church community I was part of. After a painful split, I find myself angry and confused about my faith and my relationship with God. I miss the connection I had with Jesus and the joy that faith brought to my life. I need prayer to help me move past this pain and to encounter Jesus again—this time in a way that feels safe and healing. Please pray that I can forgive those who hurt me and find a renewal of faith.

Hi David, your pain is understandable, and I commend you for seeking healing and renewal. It’s important to know that Jesus is with you even in this difficult season (John 14:6). The process of forgiveness is not easy, but it is a crucial step in finding true peace and restoring your faith. As Romans 10:9 tells us, if we confess with our mouth and believe in our hearts, we will be saved. Jesus desires to save you from the pain and lead you into a deeper relationship with Him. As you embark on this journey of forgiveness, trust that God’s grace will empower you to move forward. Let’s pray together: Lord, I pray for David and ask that You heal his heart.
