Restoring My Heart for Ministry Service
As a 24-year-old African American seminary student, I've been struggling to maintain my passion for ministry. I entered seminary filled with hope and enthusiasm, but lately, I feel like my drive is fading, and doubt is creeping in. I find myself feeling more exhausted than inspired, and I am worried that I'm not fulfilling God’s calling on my life. I’m asking for prayer that God would lift me out of this spiritual rut and bring back the joy and passion I once felt for serving others. I want to be a vessel for His love, but I need help reigniting that fire within me.

Dear Tasha, thank you for sharing your struggles. It’s important to acknowledge that even those in ministry can face moments of discouragement. Remember that God is aware of your heart’s desire to serve. In Romans 8:39, we are reminded that nothing can separate us from the love of God, even in our toughest times. Trust in Him and don’t hesitate to seek His guidance. 'If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God' (James 1:5). I encourage you to take time in prayer and reflection, asking God to restore that joy and passion. Let's pray together now: Heavenly Father, we lift Tasha before You. Revive her spirit and reignite the fire of service within her. Amen.
