Restoring My Lost Passion for Worship
I have been feeling a profound sense of emptiness in my worship lately. I used to be so passionate about singing praises and participating in church activities, but something changed, and now it feels like a chore. I find myself distracted and disengaged. I miss the overwhelming joy and the tears of gratitude that used to flow freely. I know God is good and worthy of all praise, but I feel so far from Him. Please pray that I can break through this barrier to find my passion for worship again. I desire to fully engage my heart and soul in honoring Him as I once did.

Dear Devin, your feelings of disconnection from worship are shared by many and are not uncommon. I want to encourage you that seeking God with a sincere heart is always a step towards revival. The Bible tells us in Colossians 3:17, 'And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.' Remember, worship is more than just singing; it's the posture of your heart. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 reminds us to give thanks in everything, as it helps shift our focus back to God's goodness. As you step into worship, let go of the need for perfection and simply offer God your heart. In this, you can find a renewed passion! I encourage you to join a small group or engage in prayer meetings where others can uplift your spirit. Let’s pray for a breakthrough in your worship life, that you may feel God’s presence anew and be filled with joy as you praise Him.
