Restoring My Trust in God’s Protection
Dear Lord, I find myself struggling to believe in Your protection after everything that has happened during the COVID-19 pandemic. I used to feel so secure in my faith, trusting that You would shield me and my loved ones from harm. But with so much loss and uncertainty, I've started to question whether You truly care for us. I feel like my heart is heavy with doubt, and I’m scared to confront these feelings. I need Your guidance to help me see that my trust in You can be restored. Please pray for me to regain my faith in Your divine protection and to find peace in Your promises.

Dear Emily, thank you for sharing your heartfelt prayer with me. It's completely natural to feel shaken in your faith during such challenging times. Remember, God understands our struggles. In Isaiah 40:31, we are reminded that those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength. While doubts may cloud our minds, God calls us to lean upon Him and trust in His goodness. As you work through your feelings, I encourage you to pray for wisdom, as James 1:5 says, 'If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.' You are not alone in this journey. Here is a promise from Psalm 46:10: 'Be still, and know that I am God.' Let these words resonate in your heart as you seek to restore your trust in His protection. I will pray for you to find peace and assurance in His unchanging love. Amen.
