Restoring Peace After Inheritance Disputes
I’m a middle-aged man struggling with the aftermath of my parents' death and the ensuing battle over their inheritance. My siblings and I were once close, but the arguments over money and possessions have driven a wedge between us. It's painful to see how greed has influenced our relationships and created animosity. I'm praying for clarity and healing, for God to help us remember the love we shared as siblings instead of focusing on material things. I want to approach my siblings with grace and humility, but I'm not sure how to start. Please pray that we find common ground and are able to put our differences aside for the sake of our family ties.

Dear Mark, thank you for your vulnerability in sharing this burden. It’s heartbreaking to see how financial disputes can fracture familial bonds. You are not alone in this experience; many face similar challenges. As you seek to restore peace, remember that love is patient and kind (1 Corinthians 13:4). It’s crucial to approach your siblings with that mindset. Reflect on Matthew 25:21, where it says, 'Well done, thou good and faithful servant...' This verse reminds us that God values our faithfulness in handling not just wealth, but relationships with love. As you work towards reconciliation, let your focus be on healing rather than the inheritance itself. Pray for wisdom and guidance, and God will provide it (James 1:5). Let us pray: Lord, I ask for healing among Mark and his siblings. May they find peace and understanding in their hearts. Amen.
