Searching for Assurance in My Prayer Life
Lately, I've been feeling uncertain about my prayers. It feels like I'm speaking to an empty space, and I doubt whether my words reach God. I sometimes question if I'm worthy enough for Him to listen. This doubt weighs heavily on my spirit, making it hard for me to pray with faith. I want to believe that God is attentive to my cries, but I'm struggling. Please pray that I can overcome this doubt and learn to trust that God hears me.

Dear David, thank you for being transparent about your struggles. It's perfectly normal to have doubts, but remember that God's love for you is unwavering. Romans 10:13 reassures us, 'For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.' This promise extends beyond salvation—it tells us that He hears every prayer we lift to Him. In moments like yours, it’s essential to cling to the truth of His Word. Jeremiah 29:12 states, 'Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.' This is a promise from God; He is always listening. Additionally, Psalm 46:10 encourages us to 'Be still, and know that I am God.' In your stillness, allow Him to dispel your doubts. Keep seeking Him, and I pray that your faith in His listening ear grows stronger each day. Remember, you are never unworthy in His sight. Amen.
