Searching for Direction After Financial Failure
Hi, I’m Lisa. After years of hard work with my small bakery, I was devastated when it went under last month. I thought I was following God’s plan, but now I feel lost and overwhelmed with the financial aftermath. My husband and I are struggling to make ends meet, and the stress is affecting our relationship. I’ve lost my confidence, and it feels like I’ve disappointed everyone who supported me. I really need prayer for wisdom to figure out what to do next and for strength to keep fighting through this difficult time. I want to trust in God’s plan, but I am feeling so hopeless right now.

Dear Lisa, thank you for being brave and vulnerable in sharing your struggles. It is truly painful to face a loss after pouring your heart into something you loved. However, I want to remind you that God sees your efforts and your tears. In Luke 16:10, it says, 'He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much.' Your dedication and hard work are not in vain. While it may feel like you’re at rock bottom, this can be a time of reflection and redirection. Seek God’s wisdom in prayer, as James 1:5 encourages us to do. 'If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally.' Trust that God has a plan even when you cannot see it. I will be praying for you during this challenging time, that you might find peace and the direction you need to move forward.
