Searching for Faith After Family Trauma
Dear Lord, I come before You feeling utterly lost after the recent trauma my family has endured. We faced a crisis that has shattered our unity, and I find it hard to see Your hand in any of this. I feel a deep sense of betrayal and confusion. My faith was once a strong pillar, but now it feels like it’s crumbling. It’s hard to gather the strength to pray or to believe that You are still with us. Please pray for healing in my family and the restoration of my faith. I want to believe again, but I need Your help.

Dear Samuel, thank you for reaching out and sharing your burden. It’s perfectly natural to feel lost and confused after experiencing family trauma. Remember that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalms 34:18). In these challenging times, it's vital to acknowledge your pain but also to seek the comfort that God offers. Romans 8:28 reminds us that all things work together for good to them that love God. This does not mean that everything happens for a reason, but that God can bring about good even from our darkest moments. I encourage you to engage in prayer, take quiet moments to listen to God, and surround yourself with those who can support you in your journey. Let’s pray for your family’s healing and that your faith may be rekindled. God is always at work, even when we can’t see it.
