Seeing My Son's Marriage on the Edge
My heart is breaking as I watch my son and his wife struggle in their marriage. They used to be so happy, full of love and laughter, but lately, it seems like all they do is argue. I've tried to step back and let them work through their issues, but as a mother, it's hard to see my child in pain. I often feel helpless, not knowing how to support them without overstepping boundaries. I pray for their reconciliation and healing, asking God to intervene in their hearts and remind them of the love they once shared. Please pray for this family restoration and for my peace as we navigate this tough time.

Dear Linda, I want you to know that your feelings are valid, and your concern for your son and his marriage shows the depth of your love as a mother. Marriage indeed takes work, and it can be difficult when we see those we love facing challenges. Remember that God is aware of their struggles and is always ready to restore broken relationships. In Matthew 19:6, it says, 'Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.' This verse reminds us that God’s intention for marriage is unity and love. Encourage your son and daughter-in-law to lean on God during this time, as He can renew their hearts. Pray that they reflect on the covenant they made before God and to one another, as emphasized in Malachi 2:16, where the Lord states that He hates divorce. Additionally, remind them to seek His guidance and open their hearts to one another. I will also pray for peace in your heart and for strength as you support them. Let us lift this couple up together in prayer. Amen.
