Seeking Assurance for My Father's Soul's Journey
My father is nearing the end of his life, and I am filled with anxiety about his spiritual state. Despite my efforts over the years to guide him toward Christ, he has always been resistant, dismissing my concerns about faith. I cannot shake the fear that he may face eternity without knowing the love of Jesus. I have been praying for his heart and for God to give me the right words during our conversations. Please pray with me that he will come to understand the gift of salvation before it’s too late and that God gives me the strength to share the Good News with him one last time.

Dear Jordan, your concern for your father's soul reflects the love and compassion that God has placed in your heart. Remember that our God is rich in mercy, and He longs for everyone to come to know Him (Ephesians 2:4-5). It is never too late for someone to turn to the Lord. You are right to pray for your father's heart to be softened, for the word of God says that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). Trust in the power of your testimony and the work of the Holy Spirit as you share your faith with him. God can use your words and your love to reach him in ways we cannot comprehend. Stay steadfast in prayer and keep believing that God is working behind the scenes in your father’s life. I will join you in prayer for your father’s salvation and for peace in your heart as you continue this difficult journey.
