Seeking Assurance in My Calling to Serve
My name is Aisha, and I have recently felt God calling me to serve in missions, particularly in a community that is often overlooked. However, my family doesn’t understand why I would choose this path over a more traditional career. They worry that I’m making a mistake and express their concerns frequently. I find myself doubting my decision because of their disapproval, even though I feel passionate about helping others. I pray for peace in my heart and for my family to see the value in this calling. Please pray that I can stand firm in my faith and trust God's plan for my life.

Your family's concerns are rooted in love and care, but that can sometimes cloud their understanding of your mission. In Matthew 17:20, we learn that faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains. Trust in the small faith you have; God will honor it. Philippians 1:6 reassures us that He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it. Engage your family in conversations about your passion—sharing videos or stories from missionaries might help them visualize your heart's intent.
