Seeking Clarity in My Grief Journey
The loss of my service dog has hit me harder than I expected. He was my companion during my toughest moments, and now I feel incredibly lost. With him gone, I am struggling to find clarity on what my next steps should be. I want to honor his memory and the role he played in my life, but I also need to find a way to move forward. Every day feels like a challenge, and I’m not sure how to navigate this grief. Please pray that I find guidance and that my heart can heal with time.

Dear Marcus, I understand your desire to find clarity amidst the fog of grief. It’s perfectly normal to feel lost after such a significant loss. As you navigate this journey, remember that grieving is a process, and it's okay to take the time you need. Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us, 'To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.' This season of mourning is a part of your journey, and it will eventually lead you to healing. Be gentle with yourself as you feel your way through it. In moments of doubt, lean on Philippians 4:7, which assures us, 'And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.' Trust that God has a plan for your life beyond this pain. I am praying for you to find strength in your memories and guidance in your future steps. May His peace envelop you in the days to come.
