Seeking Comfort After a Lost Pregnancy
Dear Lord, I come before you in mourning after losing my pregnancy just a few weeks ago. The hope and dreams I had for my child were so vivid, and now I feel like a part of me has been ripped away. I can't shake the feelings of guilt for not being able to carry this life to term. I find myself questioning if I did something wrong or if I could have changed the outcome somehow. Please help me to find peace in this loss and to understand that it is okay to grieve. I’m asking for prayer for healing in my heart and for guidance in my journey of remembrance and acceptance. I want to honor the life that was lost and find solace in your embrace.

Dear Emily, I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. Losing a child is one of the hardest experiences anyone can face, and it's completely natural to grieve. In times like this, Jesus reminds us in John 11:25, 'I am the resurrection and the life.' Your child is safe in His arms, and you will be reunited one day. Remember, it's okay to mourn and to take the time you need to heal. God understands your pain and invites you to cast all your cares upon Him (1 Peter 5:7). As you navigate this difficult time, consider ways to honor your lost pregnancy, whether through a memorial or journaling your feelings. Allow yourself to feel the grief, but also allow God’s love to bring you comfort. Lord, I pray that You surround Emily with Your love and peace during this time of mourning. May she feel Your presence and know that her child is cherished in Your sight. Amen.
