Seeking Comfort Amidst Heartache
I lost my baby girl at 20 weeks, and the pain feels unbearable. I had already envisioned our lives together, planning for her first steps and the joy she would bring. Now, there is nothing but silence. I can’t shake the feeling of emptiness and loss. I feel like a part of me is missing, and it’s hard to see a way forward. I’m reaching out for prayer to help me find solace and to truly feel God’s love and comfort during this painful time.

Dear Samantha, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Losing a child is a pain no parent should have to endure, and it’s completely normal to feel an ache in your heart. I want to encourage you to lean into the love of Christ during this time. He is near to the brokenhearted, and your grief does not go unnoticed. In Psalm 147:3, we are reminded that 'He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.' You are not alone in this journey of mourning. As you seek comfort, surrender your pain to Him, knowing that He cares deeply for you. Let us also remember 1 Thessalonians 4:13, which speaks of hope beyond this life, assuring us that those who have gone before us will be united with us again. My prayers will be with you, asking that God surrounds you with His peace and comfort in your heart.
