Seeking Courage to Discuss Faith with My Coworker
I have a Muslim coworker, Fatima, who has shown a genuine curiosity about Jesus. Recently, she asked me a few questions about my faith, and it felt like a pivotal moment for both of us. I am excited but also nervous about how to respond appropriately and respectfully, as I want to honor her beliefs while sharing the truth of the Gospel. I sometimes worry that I might say something that could offend or confuse her. I pray for wisdom and courage to speak clearly about my faith and to be a good example of Christ's love. Please pray that our conversations can lead her to a deeper understanding of Jesus and His grace. I long for her to experience the joy of salvation that I have found.

Dear James, I commend you for your willingness to share your faith with Fatima. It takes great courage to engage in such conversations, especially with someone from a different background. Remember the promise in 1 Peter 3:15, which encourages us to always be ready to give an answer for the hope we have, yet to do so with gentleness and respect. Your desire to honor her beliefs while sharing the truth is commendable and reflects the love of Christ. It’s essential to rely on the Holy Spirit during your discussions, as He will guide you in what to say. In Romans 10:9, we are reminded that if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved. Pray for clarity in your words and that Fatima's heart would be open to the Gospel. Remember, God’s heart is for all, as stated in 2 Peter 3:9, wishing that none should perish but that all should reach repentance. I will pray for you to have courage and for your conversations to bear fruit in His perfect timing.
