Seeking Direction After Losing Everything
I’ve lost everything I worked for due to unforeseen circumstances. My business failed, and I had to lay off my staff, which has left me feeling like I’ve let everyone down. The shame is overwhelming, and I find myself questioning my worth and abilities. I feel like my dreams have crumbled, and I’m unsure how to move forward. I need prayers for clarity and strength to rebuild my life. I want to trust that God has a plan for me, even if I can't see it right now.

Dear Marcus, I want you to know that your feelings are valid in this distressing time. It’s incredibly difficult to face such a significant loss, and your worth is not defined by your business or its failure. Remember that even in our darkest moments, God is at work. Romans 8:28 assures us, 'And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.' Your dreams may feel shattered now, but God is capable of creating beauty from ashes. As you seek clarity, lean on the promise found in Psalm 37:5, 'Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.' God’s path for you may lead to new beginnings. Let’s pray together: Lord, comfort Marcus in his pain and guide him toward new opportunities filled with hope. Amen.
