Seeking Direction Amid Financial Turmoil
Dear Pastor David, I am in a very dire situation. For years, I’ve been the main income source for my elderly parents and my young daughter. Recently, my work has slowed down significantly, and I fear I may lose my job. My family relies on me, and the thought of not being able to provide for them fills me with despair. It feels like no matter how hard I work, I can’t keep up with the financial demands. I’m reaching out for prayer that God might open new doors for me and grant wisdom on how to manage our finances in this uncertain season. I want to remain strong for my family, but I feel completely overwhelmed.

Young Adults Pastor
Dear Samuel, thank you for sharing your burden with us. It is clear that you are a devoted son and father, and your heart for your family shines through your words. In times of financial uncertainty, it can be hard to see a way forward. However, I want to remind you of God's promise in Philippians 4:19, 'But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.' While the pressure may feel heavy, trust that God is aware of your situation and has a plan for you. I encourage you to seek God's wisdom, as stated in James 1:5, and to take practical steps in managing your finances. Remember, Ecclesiastes 9:11 tells us that 'the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong,' reminding us that success is not just about our efforts but also about God's timing and provision. Let's pray together for direction and peace as you navigate this challenging time.
