Seeking Direction Amidst Career Confusion
My name is Jessica, and I am a 28-year-old woman feeling utterly lost in my career. I have always believed that my work should have a purpose, but lately, I feel like I've been wandering without direction. I graduated with a degree in social work, but I haven’t found a job that feels fulfilling. I am praying that God shows me the path He has for me and helps me feel His presence in my life. I desire to understand my God-given purpose and how I can serve others in a meaningful way. Please pray that I can find clarity and peace in this uncertain time. Thank you.

Dear Jessica, thank you for sharing your heart with us. I want you to know that it’s completely normal to feel lost at times, especially when it comes to our careers and purpose. Remember what Scripture tells us in Proverbs 3:5, 'Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.' Give your worries to God, for He has a unique plan for you that will reveal itself in His perfect timing. In Philippians 1:6, we are reminded that 'He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.' Have faith that your journey is not in vain and that God is working behind the scenes. Take time to pray and seek His will, and watch for opportunities that align with your passions and values. I will pray for guidance and clarity in your life. Lord, we ask that You help Jessica find her purpose and peace in You. Amen.
