Seeking Divine Guidance for Conversations with a Colleague

I have a colleague, Nadia, who is an observant Muslim. She often engages me in discussions about our differing beliefs. While these conversations are enriching, I feel a deep desire for her to know Jesus personally. There’s a fear in me that I may misrepresent my faith or say something that could drive her away. I feel God nudging me to pray for her and to share my faith, but I also need His guidance on how to do so effectively. I pray for wisdom, clarity, and the right moments to speak about Jesus and His love. Please pray that Nadia's heart is receptive to the truths of the Gospel and that I can convey them with grace.

Dear Lila, it's wonderful to see how God is working in your life and the life of your colleague, Nadia. Your desire to share the Gospel with her reflects the heart of Christ. As you step into these conversations, rely on God’s wisdom as promised in James 1:5, where we are encouraged that if we lack wisdom, we should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault. You are not alone in this; the Spirit will provide the words you need. In Romans 6:23, we are reminded that the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. This is the message of hope you long to share. Approach each dialogue with love and patience, keeping in mind that our aim is to reflect Christ's love in our discussions. I will pray for you, that these conversations will be opportunities for Nadia to see the truth of the Gospel and for you to speak with boldness and clarity.
