Seeking Faith for My Homeless Friend
I have a dear friend, Robert, who has been homeless for over a year now. He struggles with depression and feels utterly alone in this world. I see glimpses of hope in him when we talk about faith, but he’s so far from feeling worthy of it. It pains me to see him living in such despair. I often bring him food and clothes, but I wish I could do more. I pray that God would touch Robert’s heart and reveal His love to him. I hope he finds not just physical shelter but also a spiritual home in Christ. Please pray with me for Robert's salvation, that he may come to believe in Jesus and find the hope he so desperately needs.

Mark, thank you for your compassion and for being a steadfast friend to Robert during this challenging time. Your dedication to serving him reflects the heart of Christ. As you continue to reach out to him, remember that God is near to the brokenhearted (Psalms 34:18). It’s through your kindness that Robert may encounter God’s love. I encourage you to share the Gospel with him in a way that meets him where he is. Remind him of John 14:6, where Jesus declares that He is the way, the truth, and the life. He can find solace and purpose in Christ, despite his current circumstances. Pray that God’s Spirit moves in Robert’s heart, and that he recognizes that all who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13). I will be praying for both of you, that God opens doors for deeper conversations about faith and hope.
